What’s the latest over in the book-publishing world? According to subscription-only service Publishers Marketplace, Daniel Humm and general manager Will Guidara have inked a “good deal” (meaning six figures) for Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook, which will feature “100 seasonally arranged recipes and behind-the-scenes vignettes highlighting the philosophy of continual reinvention at the dining spot.” Little Brown will publish. Meanwhile, Frank Bruni has sold TV rights to his memoir, Born Round, to Fremantle, to be produced by Tollin Productions (of One Tree Hill and Smallville). Which raises the question: Who will play Bruni on the small screen? Frankie’s doppelgängers have been explored in the past, but we’re voting for Bradley Cooper who bears a passing resemblance and, after all, has experience in the realm of food-book adaptations as “Jack Bourdain” in Kitchen Confidential.
