Attempting to turn YouTube stunt videos into service journalism, Faster Times has enlisted writer Jessica Pilot to ascertain which “human-grade” dog food is tastiest. Samples range from “something that I would serve my boyfriend for dinner” to literally gag-inducing. Pilot’s complaint about the latter is mainly that it comes from a can: “I grew up macrobiotic — it’s just not my thing.” Okay, so maybe Brooklyn Bug Biters?
Update: Faster Times has now published a story to accompany the video, profiling a woman who gets up at 4 a.m. every day to make 100 pounds of organic dog food in her two-bedroom apartment.
