Beatrice Diaspora: André and Abramcyk Plan Two New Venues

Yesterday the Tribeca Citizen brought news that Paul Sevigny’s partner in the Beatrice Inn, Matt Abramcyk, is planning to open a restaurant at 109 West Broadway and Reade. And now we’re hearing that another partner in the Bea, André Saraiva, may have just signed a lease at 32 Mulberry Street, near Mosco, and, as rumored, will bring an outpost of his Über-hip Parisian club Le Baron to the quiet block. Another source believes the project is contingent on a liquor-license transfer (according to SLA records, the current license expires a year from now). Either way, when we cruised by earlier today it was clear that the previous tenant, Yello, is a goner and progress on the new venue (dare we say, the new Beatrice?) is underway.
