Meatpacking mojito destination Son Cubano is moving to Chelsea’s former club row. “It’s the landlord,” explains the general manager at the current location. He wouldn’t say much more because he says exact dates and details haven’t yet been set, but a call to Community Board 4 reveals that the restaurant got the board’s nod for a liquor license in the space that Cain vacated earlier this year, at 544 West 27th Street. Some further gist: A receptionist at the current location told us the owners, who also operate Flor De Sol in Tribeca, are also opening in Jersey in February.
