Downtown Cipriani Can Put a Giant Chrome Horse on the Sidewalk If It Wants To

Lola’s revamp isn’t the only thing happening in Soho. Around the corner on West Broadway, Downtown Cipriani has installed something even more ballsy (literally) than its usual replica of the Wall Street bull. You know, just in case those Lambos have forgotten where to park. The same artist, Arturo Di Modica, has created a chrome sculpture of what appears to be a horse eating its own tail. (We’re sure there’s a metaphor for overpriced calamari in there somewhere.) Hey, we all know that flaunting $60,000 bling is the best way to assure everyone your stuff hasn’t been auctioned off.
