Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, owners of the wildly popular Meatball Shop on Stanton Street, have been searching for a second location, and it looks like they may have found one on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. “We are certainly working to make something happen, and we would love to open in Williamsburg, but we don’t have a signed lease or a liquor license yet,” Chernow tells us. “My lawyer may have reached out to the Brooklyn’s community board #1, but there are no papers filed.” Though we’ve heard the location in question is on Bedford Avenue, the duo was not forthcoming about an exact address. “We are hoping to open next year but we want to keep it under wraps,” explained Holzman. “We are trying to protect our interests regarding signing a lease or getting a license.”
