Mark your calendars. Gabrielle Hamilton’s buzzed-about memoir Blood, Bones and Butter: The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef finally goes on sale March 1, and not only will she be appearing at the Union Square Barnes & Noble then, but we hear she’ll be in conversation with her biggest fan, Anthony Bourdain. That should be a sharp-tongued exchange. Profiles in the New York Times and Ellen Magazine (plus an appearance on the Today show) are slated to follow, so get ready for the low-profile Prune chef to finally step into the national spotlight. Oh, and if you want a taste (literally!) of Hamilton’s life story before the memoir comes out, note that according to Prune’s website, she’s once again doing her nostalgic Valentine’s Day menu this year.
