Good news for fans of the world’s 40th-best restaurant (a.k.a. Momofuku Ssam Bar): There’s soon going to be more of it. That’s because, as predicted, Momofuku Milk Bar has vacated the back quadrant of the restaurant for a bigger space across the street at 251 East 13th Street, which should open tomorrow pending a successful health inspection. The Milk Bar menu will stay pretty much the same, with the possible addition of boozy shakes, since the new space has been approved for a liquor license. As for how Ssam Bar will utilize its new real estate, word is David Chang is giving the crew a month to think about it. Perhaps a poutine bar, a grilled-kangaroo-skewers stand, or maybe a temperature-controlled atelier for foraged goods? We’re confident he’ll figure it out! [Eater NY]
