Sounds Like Mark Iacono Is Off the Hook, For Now

Yesterday, Lucali’s Mark Iacono was in Brooklyn Criminal Court, but was freed without bail because the case — he’s been charged with attempted murder after a knife fight broke out last Friday — “had yet to be presented to a grand jury,” according to the Post.

Okay then! Great news for pizza lovers, right? Not so fast. An employee at Lucali, which has been closed since the stabbing incident last week, told the Post that while Iacono is “doing fine,” he was “not around.” We’ll let you know if he turns up (and opens the restaurant) as soon as we hear something.
