Things are poppin’ (or popping up, anyway) in the West Twenties. Eater reports that the Mad. Sq. Mark’t is bringing vendors like Momofuku Milk Bar, Calexico, Roberta’s, Asiadog, and Eataly to the west side of Madison Square Park every Friday through June 3. Meanwhile, DNA Info clues us into the Zagat Food Truck Frenzy, bringing trucks like the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck (which returned for the season today and is publishing a cookbook), Kelvin Natural Slush Co., and of course uptown favorite Patacon Pisao to 21st and 22nd Street between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues from noon till 3 p.m. on May 18. Advance tickets get you four items for $12.
