We knew that supper clubs were growing up, but this might make them officially adult: Playboy has discovered NY Bite Club. In this month’s issue, the men’s mag says the whole thing is “the dining equivalent of the underground music scene — but in cramped apartments and with Michelin-worthy cooking instead of grimy warehouses and clamorous power chords” (a familiar theory!). As far as shadowy underground doings go, we’d expect pop-up lap-dancing to be more on the lad-mag beat than supper clubs, but eh, what do we know?
