The former home of Alto has been empty since the restaurant’s sudden shuttering in March, but today comes word that Valbella will likely open a branch in the space. According to the Post, the meatpacking Italian restaurant is “in advanced talks with landlord Tishman Speyer” for the multilevel east midtown venue. [NYP]
