It’s tough to tell which hang will be more authentic: La Pulqueria, from the Trummer-ized Tierney siblings, or Salon Hecho, spun from Hecho en Dumbo — because both seem pretty legit. Pulqueria is introducing New York to the wondrous pulque cocktail, while Salon Hecho is specializing in infused mezcals called abocados — which sound quite daring! Hecho will also be focused on music so that, much like their old venue in Dumbo, they can have live Mexican bands and all night Dirty Dancing–style Mexican dancing.
