Today Eater gets a look at Monkey Bar’s new bar menu. Items like roasted hamachi collar and pork terrine are in keeping with chef Damon Wise’s recent overhaul of the restaurant’s food, and the exorbitant prices are in keeping with owner Graydon Carter’s apparent desire to keep the hoi polloi out: There’s a $24 burger (of course), an order of roasted bone marrow goes for $22, caramel-Cheddar popcorn is $9, and the fries will run you $12. Though, those $12 French fries do apparently come with herbs and some cheese on top. [Eater NY]
