Grub Street has learned that after eight years, Matsuri restaurant and Hiro Ballroom in the Maritime Hotel, home to many party people and “Page Six” items throughout the years, will be closing on March 30. The space has been leased by nightlife power player Marc Packer (Lavo, Tao, Avenue, etc.), who already has plans to renovate the space for a 2013 completion.
