Al Di Là’s many enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that Bar Corvo, its simple and affordable Italian sibling, is opening on Thursday in Crown Heights. The restaurant, which is where Teddy’s once was, will start with dinner only, with lunch and takeout service coming soon. Al Di Là classics like individual lasagne and tagliatelle al ragu have made their way onto Corvo’s menu, but expect a variety of new rustic dishes too. PS: Corvo means “crow” in Italian, and the area was once called Crow Hill. [Prospect Heights/Patch]
