News broke over the weekend that the little (triple-Michelin-starred) restaurant that could, Brooklyn Fare, will open a location in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen. Owner Moe Issa told the WSJ he’s signed a lease on a space at 39th Street (between Ninth and Tenth) and hopes to open by June or July. He’ll have plenty of room to import the adjacent grocery store as well, along with a 60-seat à la carte restaurant: The space is 11,000 square feet, with an outdoor terrace, and the chef’s table tasting menu will be served in a wine room in the large basement. Now maybe we’ll finally be able to get a reservation?
