Well, the Park Slope Food Co-op finally voted on whether or not they should ban products from Israel (the Times pointed out earlier this week that the grand total of Israeli products sold at the Co-op is six), and the results are in: Israeli food will stay! As Daily Intel reports, 1,005 members voted in opposition of the ban, while only 653 were in favor. As one supporter told the Times, “The vote tonight has shown us that we still have a lot of work ahead in the fight to end Israeli oppression of Palestinians.” [Daily Intel, NYT, Earlier]
