It’s been a while since last we heard any news on Hostess’s bankruptcy, but today the Post brings word that the company and its biggest labor union are “close to a last-ditch deal” that would keep Hostess — and all of its lovely bagged baked goods — alive and well. But hold on: “If the members reject the deal, talks will likely collapse, and the company could be forced to liquidate.” So if you’re really into Twinkies, you might want to start stocking up now — it’s not like they’ll ever go bad.
