What to Eat at Gaonnuri, Serving Upscale Korean High Above K-Town [Updated]

As part of what seems to be a possible upscale-Korean boomlet, here comes Gaonnuri, that penthouse-level K-Town joint we told you about, opening September 25.* As mentioned, the place specializes in fancy ban sang (traditional Korean set meals that include fare like jigae [stew], rice, fish, and ban chan, or veggie sides). There’s also barbecue and other typical dishes presented in an upscale fashion — with a side of Empire State Building views, of course. See for yourself straight ahead.
