The driver of a stolen Hummer allegedly turned the vehicle into oncoming traffic on Sixth Avenue in Chelsea earlier this afternoon before colliding with a bus, then jumping the curb and ramming the facade of RUB BBQ on West 23rd Street, according to several reports. Several people were injured in the process and at least five people have been sent to area hospitals. A Great Big City reports that several onlookers claimed the Hummer was stolen from the front of the 40/40 Club, where President Obama is holding a fund-raiser with hosts Jay-Z and Beyoncé tonight.
