What to Eat at Italian Import Antica Pesa, Opening Tomorrow in Williamsburg
Look out, Sant Ambroeus, there’s a new Italian hot spot in town: Antica Pesa, a Roman transplant whose original location opened in 1922, and which is still frequented by celebs visiting the Eternal City. Given this pedigree, we suppose it’s only fitting that Antica’s first NYC location should land in Williamsburg, not too far from the Über-trendy Wythe Hotel. The sprawling menu specializes in saltimboca, and the kind of light, veggie-forward fare that’s appropriate for both farm-to-table Brooklyn and waifish waistlines. Wonder which Olsen twin will be caught in a back banquette snogging someone twice her age there first? And maybe Richard Gere wants to do a promo video for this location. Anyway, see the menu below.
